 David is one of the principals and a cofounder of The Stark Consulting Group, Inc. (SCG). From its inception in 1993, he has led Stark Consulting Group to 16 years of successful growth and repeat business from major U.S. corporations.
David has been involved with electronic payment systems and supporting products for over 20 years. His team’s expertise in financial systems, electronic payment options, e-commerce, as well as spend analysis & program implementation has enabled them to assist corporations and public agencies with a diverse scope of needs and goals. As key partners in the optimization of commercial card programs and in developing strategies for significant growth card, SCG has first hand experience in the practical application of technology and process improvements to grow programs. David in-depth understanding and innovative methods has lead to a large number of successful projects relating to implementation of successful commercial card programs and e-commerce related business development. David’s ability to work with executive management as well as technical innovators has led to many successful engagements in both the public and private sectors. He has worked with Fortune 50 companies, major payment networks, international financial institutions, and small to medium size businesses during his 30 plus year career. David’s background includes over thirty-four years of hands-on management experience in high technology companies competing globally. Prior to starting Stark Consulting, David led numerous innovative teams in producing high levels of productivity and results. He has held leadership roles of both product development and marketing and was promoted to President of Datatrol in which he led a major financial and marketing turnaround. David graduated with a B.S. Degree in Industrial Technology from Bemidji State University and participated in postgraduate work at the University of Minnesota. He attended an intensive seminar with W. Edwards Deming and is a graduate of the Minnesota Management Institute, University of Minnesota |
